TROY – During a meeting this week, Troy’s Board of Aldermen did some financial acrobatics regarding major purchases while considering discontinuing a property tax rollback in an effort to address a budget shortfall that may not exist.

TROY - Lincoln County continues to see a rise in its population. The gains can all occur for a variety of reasons including employment opportunities, education, business expansion, and safety.

TROY – Despite the objections of a couple citizens, the Troy Board of Aldermen approved by a 5-1 vote a rezoning request Monday at their monthly meeting that will allow for the construction of a multi-unit housing complex near the Sacred Heart Catholic cemetery.
